Angry Fans Set Zlatan Statue On Fire In Sweden

Shortly after it was announced that former LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic had purchased stakes in Swedish soccer club Hammarby, fans of the club where his career began let their feelings be known. Furious Malmo fans vandalized and set on fire his statue that was just unveiled a couple of months ago in Sweden along with leaving fermented fish on his doorstep in Stockholm. History was made at the WSL World Junior Championships after Japanese surfer Amuro Tsuzuki became the first from her country to win a WSL world title. In Euro League action, Fenerbahce Istanbul defeated Khimki Moscow 89-76 while Crvena Zvezda took down Valencia with a thrilling buzzer beater to win 76-73. RT America’s Steve Christakos reports.
