(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has long tried to toe the line between pleasing the far-left activist within his party and appealing to the majority of the (sane) American public. This week, the former vice president was forced to condemn the ongoing violence in Portland…but he did so in a way that appeases the far left among his ranks too.
In an official statement, Biden condemned the violence committed by anarchists – the extremism that Jerry Nadler said is a myth – but used the opportunity to blame the violence on President Trump.
“Peaceful protesters should be protected and arsonists and anarchists should be prosecuted,” Joe Biden said in a statement. “And local law enforcement can do that. When President Obama and I were in office we protected federal property. We were able to do it without the Department of Homeland Security turning into a private militia.”
Biden is right, and he’s wrong. Riots like this didn’t occur under the Obama administration because they appeased the far-left extremists. Republicans who opposed the Obama administration did not take to the streets and burn down buildings. In this instance, President Trump is faced with far-left rioters destroying cities because they didn’t vote for him, and local Democratic leaders refusing to allow local law enforcement to do their job.
So, do you see the deception here?
Biden claimed that Trump is determined to “stoke division and chaos,” despite the fact that President Trump has done nothing but try to stop the chaos.

“His campaign is failing and he is looking for a political lifeline,” Biden said. “This isn’t about law and order it’s about a political strategy to revive a failing campaign.”
More deception, right there. A failing campaign? Biden would say that because it makes people think it might be true. Polls might show Biden with a lead, but they showed Hillary Clinton with a similarly large lead in the run-up to the 2016 election. And we all know what happened.
The question now is…how will the far left respond? Will they recognize that Biden has to condemn their violence whether he agrees with it or not in order to win the election, or will they go after him for not supporting their radicalism?
