(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Joe Biden made a massive deal about how he has dogs during his presidential campaign as if owning a dog is some kind of achievement. And while the Biden campaign made the dogs look friendly and sweet, one of his dogs, Major, is continuing to cause problems.
A White House spokesperson told TMZ that Major is “still adjusting to his new surroundings” and that he “nipped someone while on a walk.”
Major isn’t a young dog, so why hasn’t Joe Biden trained him properly by now>
“Out of an abundance of caution, the individual was seen by WHMU and then returned to work without injury,” the spokesperson continued.
This is the second time that Major has bitten an employee at the White House, and if it were anybody else, local authorities would be involved and the owner reprimanded. But Joe Biden still seems to be in the clear, even after failing to properly train his pet.
David Cooper, an attorney at Cooper Law Partner in Washington, D.C., told Fox News that it would be wise for Major to be kept away from White House employees at this point.
“My legal recommendation to them would be to keep that dog completely isolated or away from anyone because he’s a known danger,” Cooper, a specialist in personal injury law, said.
“I believe it’s their duty to protect people from their dog,” he added.
Major might well be a very sweet dog, and he can’t help who his owner is…but Joe Biden could do more to train him.
The news comes after one of the president’s dogs, and nobody knows which one, had a bathroom accident just outside of the Diplomatic Reception Room near the South Lawn.
Remember when they said that Joe Biden would be more “presidential” than Trump?
President Biden has repeatedly defended his dogs, particularly Major, suggesting it’s a matter of the environment being too alien.
“You turn a corner and there’s two people you don’t know at all,” he said. “And he moves to protect.”
But well-trained protection dogs don’t nip at the first opportunity.
Perhaps the president would be wise to move his dogs back to his home in Wilmington, Delaware. It’s not like he wouldn’t see them very much…he’s back home every weekend!
