CNN Reports Dr. Fauci’s Announcement Will Be A “Disaster” For Joe Biden

( Dr. Anthony Fauci has often sided with Democrats over the last year-and-a-half that the coronavirus pandemic has raged on in the United States.

But, just this week, he delivered a prediction and some news that may prove to be very harmful to the Democratic Party as the 2022 midterm elections loom next year.

Fauci, the country’s top infectious disease expert, recently suggested that the COVID-19 pandemic won’t be fully under control until the spring of 2022. And that prediction will only come true if a majority of Americans end up getting vaccinated against the virus.

Speaking on CNN recently, Fauci said:

“As we get into the spring, we could start getting back to a degree of normality, namely reassuming the things that we were hoping we could do — restaurants, theaters, that kind of thing.”

While that outlook at least shows a realistic end in sight to the pandemic, it doesn’t look great for President Joe Biden or the rest of the Democratic Party.

Since taking over the White House earlier this year, Biden has promised to put an end to the pandemic that he and other Democrats said was made worse by Republicans and former President Donald Trump.

If Fauci’s predictions hold true, though, that would mean that in more than a year’s time, Biden and the Democrats controlling Congress still won’t have solved the pandemic.

That could prove especially damaging to Democrats as they try to hold onto very slim majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate — and it could help boost Republicans’ chances of regaining control of both chambers of Congress.

Not long after taking office, Biden pushed through a massive economic stimulus package that was meant to propel the country out of the pandemic and help needy people who have suffered financially. Then, he made bold claims about vaccine goals.

The problem now, though, is that the country never hit Biden’s ambitious vaccine goals, and it doesn’t look like the gap between the vaccinated and unvaccinated is going to close anytime soon.

Now, with summer at its end and much colder months ahead, there is a real concern that the U.S. could see another huge surge in COVID-19 cases. The same thing happened last fall and winter as people headed indoors to escape the cold.

The difference this time around is that there aren’t the same indoor mask mandates in place in many states around the country. In addition, children will be back to school almost full-time in-person, while businesses are starting to bring workers back into the office.

If the pandemic rages on and the economy starts suffering again, what will the Democrats do in response? Americans may expect another massive financial recovery package, but it’s unlikely to happen — especially considering the multi-trillion-dollar budget and infrastructure bills working their way through Congress now.

Biden and Democrats better hope that Fauci is wrong, and something turns around and turns around quickly. Otherwise, it could spell doom for them at the polls next November.
