Dan Bongino Calls Ocasio-Cortez’s Woke Tweets the Definition of Racism

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Over the weekend, a thin-skinned Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went on a Twitter rant attacking Republicans for using “wokeness” as a way to distract Democrats from pursuing her progressive agenda.

Ocasio-Cortez claimed that it will hurt the Democrats’ chances in the 2022 midterms if they fall for the Republican claim that “wokeness” is the reason they lost last Tuesday’s election in Virginia.

Alexandria thinks Republicans have appropriated the term “woke” and turned it into a “derogatory euphemism for civil rights & justice.” And by doing so, she believes, civil rights and voting rights will be put “on the backburner.”

She railed against Fox News, claiming that they aren’t just indoctrinating “right-wingers,” they’re also “conditioning” Democrats on what issues they should run away from.

What got her knickers in a twist was Democrat strategist James Carville saying that last week’s election results went wrong because of “stupid wokeness.” In short, Carville believes the Democrats ran too far to the Left and as a result, they lost Virginia.

Polling agrees with Carville. But Alexandria does not.

She was miffed that Carville would “denigrate” people under 45 by using the term “woke” as an insult. Despite voter turnout in Virginia being the highest of any governor’s race ever, Ocasio-Cortez claimed that turnout fell because Democrats like Carville are denigrating young people.

Monday, Fox News host Dan Bongino took Ocasio-Cortez apart over her Twitter tantrum. Calling her an unserious person, Bongino said that nothing she said about last week’s election lines up with exit polling.

The social justice agenda she advances is the very agenda parents wanted out of the schools. And those parents turned out for Youngkin.

Bongino said that the “woke left” isn’t interested in fighting racism. Instead, they are advancing racism and segregation. He said the Left is pushing “race essentialism,” which is “the very definition of racism.”

Bongino explained that what they’re really interested in fighting is a class war against successful people. But they use the pretense that they’re “fighting racism” because they believe it is “a more palatable narrative for them.”
