Democrats Suffer Losses While Trying TO Rig Elections, Get Spanked

( After exploiting the COVID hysteria in 2020 to remove every guardrail protecting the integrity of US elections, Democrats were so delighted with the results, they wanted to make those temporary changes permanent.

But not just permanent in a state-by-state capacity. No. Democrats went big. Congress decided to defy the Constitution, strip individual states of their authority to determine their own election laws, and create a one-size fits all Federal election law instead.

The “For the People Act” was the result.

The goal of this bill is to nullify election law in all fifty states and require the states to adhere to what the Democrats in Congress decide should be election law.

It is a level of federal overreach the likes of which we have never seen.

While the House passed its version of the “For the People Act,” the Republicans managed to block its passage in the Senate.

But that wasn’t even the biggest blow against the Democrats’ grand scheme to ensure permanent political power for themselves.

Last week, the Supreme Court delivered a crushing defeat against the Democrats’ plans to permanently rig our elections.

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court overturned the 9th Circuit Court’s ruling in Brnovich v. DNC. The DNC challenged Arizona’s election laws that banned ballot harvesting and disallowed votes cast in the wrong precinct.

In their argument against Arizona, the DNC claimed the election laws were discriminatory, and the 9th Circuit Court agreed.

The Supreme Court, however, did not.

SCOTUS maintained that the Federal Government should only be meddling in state election laws in rare cases. Likewise, the Court recognized and reiterated the rights of states to enact reasonable voting regulations in order to preserve the integrity of the election process.

This decision will absolutely impact Congress’ attempts to supersede state election law with their silly “For the People Act.”

What’s more, last week’s Arizona decision will also have an impact on the lawsuit the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division just filed against the State of Georgia for its recent election law changes.

Naturally, Congressional Democrats are not taking the Court ruling at all well. Speaker Pelosi accused the Supreme Court of assaulting voting rights while Senate Majority Leader Schumer, always the drama queen, claimed the Court’s decision was “one of the darkest days in all of the Supreme Court’s history.”

It is unlikely the Democrats will give up their fight to rig future elections. They’re power depends on it. But, thanks to the Supreme Court’s decision, their fight just got a lot harder to win.
