(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Dr. Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, recently sparred with Republican Senator for Kansas Roger Marshall over the availability of his financial disclosures. The documents reveal his financial investments and interests and are required by the federal government for his continued employment.
They should be publicly available, but they don’t seem to be.
Marshall asked Fauci during a recent Senate hearing whether he would be willing to “submit to Congress and the public a financial disclosure that includes your past and current investments.”
Fauci responded by claiming he didn’t understand why he was asking the question given that his financial disclosure is public knowledge and has been for the last 37 years. He got so angry that he was caught on a hot mic after the hearing calling the senator a “moron.” But the financial disclosures…aren’t public.
Fauci told Marshall that all he has to do is ask for the disclosure…which is precisely what he did. Senator Marshall has also followed up with a letter demanding that the documents be made available.
A spokesperson for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases also confirmed to the media that the documents are only made available to those who specifically ask for them. They require that people fill in this form and ask for the documents, but it’s unclear how long it will take for the disclosures to be made available.
It’s just another example Dr. Anthony Fauci being loose with the truth. Why did he get so angry with Senator Marshall for asking for his financial disclosures when his own agency admits that the documents need to be requested in order to be seen?
Just imagine what might happen if our readers all filled in the form and requested it… What might we find?
