Elon Musk Fires Employee Who Attacked Him On Twitter

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- On Monday, Elon Musk terminated the employment of a discourteous employee. And he did it on Twitter.

On Sunday, Elon Musk issued an apology for the sluggish performance of Twitter in certain regions.

Musk said – “Btw, I’d like to apologize for Twitter being super slow in many countries. App is doing >1000 poorly batched RPCs just to render a home timeline!”

Musk was publicly called out in a tweet by a Twitter programmer who has spent the past six years working on the Twitter app for Android.

In his response, Elon Musk addressed the Twitter engineer.

“Then please correct me. What is the right number?” Musk asked.

Musk sent a follow-up tweet that said Twitter was moving at a snail’s pace on Android. He asked what steps he had taken to rectify the situation.

A colleague in the technology industry cautioned the Twitter engineer not to criticize his boss publicly but rather to take the problem up with Musk in private.

“I have been a developer for the past 20 years,” the warning came from the techie, who further stated, ” I can tell you that as the domain expert here, you should inform your boss privately.”

“Trying to one-up him in public while he is trying to learn and be helpful makes you look like a spiteful self-serving dev,” he said.

The Twitter programmer maintained his uncompromising stance and stated that Elon Musk was in the wrong and that Musk himself should have been the one to ask him questions in a private setting via Slack or email.

A random person tagged Elon Musk on Twitter, saying, “@ElonMusk, with this kind of attitude, you probably don’t want this guy on your team.”

A little bit later, the tweet was posted: “He’s fired.”

Elon Musk was thanked by the sacked Twitter engineer, who answered with a salute.

According to reports, Musk is mulling over the possibility of laying off further employees just a few short weeks after he terminated the employment of half of the company’s personnel.

Several employees have left the company in response to an ultimatum issued by Elon Musk, which stated that they either work in a “hardcore environment” or resign from their positions.

The most recent round of layoffs at Twitter is expected to target staff working in the company’s sales and partnership departments.
