Elon Musk Spotted With Fox News Owner At Super Bowl

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Twitter’s CEO brushed off the criticism as he and Rupert Murdoch,  Fox News founder and billionaire, watched the Super Bowl together on Sunday in Arizona.

Murdoch and his family control Fox, and during the Super Bowl broadcast, play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt mentioned the meeting between Musk and Murdoch, who were seated together in a suite.

Given Musk’s recent $44 billion purchase of Twitter and his bellyaching against alleged liberal bias among “mainstream media,” the optics couldn’t have happened at a more interesting moment for Musk.

Musk, who attended the game in a “rodeo doge” shirt depicting Shiba Inu, the dog mascot wearing a ten-gallon hat, implied that the conversation he and Murdoch had was considerably less profound than a meeting of great intellects.

To a tweet asking what the moguls were talking about during the Super Bowl, Musk replied with a simple “Dogecoin,” furthering his promotion of the meme coin.

According to Forbes’s rankings, Musk has the second wealthiest person in the world at $185 billion, while Murdoch ranks in the lower top 100 with a net worth of under $20 billion. Most of Musk’s fortune derives from owning the companies he founded and running as CEO of SpaceX, Tesla, and Twitter.

Murdoch amassed his wealth by selling Fox’s entertainment properties to Disney for $71.3 billion in 2019 and his extensive media holdings, including Fox News and the Wall Street Journal.

Despite his claims that he is politically agnostic, Musk has been vocal in his support for Republican candidates in the midterm elections and has labeled the Democratic Party the party of division & hatred.

This is Musk’s second time in as many months that he has sat down to watch a big sports event with a member of a conservative wealthy family. Musk sat down with Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, to watch the World Cup final in December.
