“Equity Officer” Quits From School After Doxxing Parents

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Given that Attorney General Merrick Garland seems to think that parents pose a “domestic terror” treat for opposing school boards’ decisions to allow Critical Race Theory to be taught in schools all over the country, it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that some school board members are taking the matter into their own hands and demonizing parents any way they can.

One shocking incident comes from Fort Worth in Texas, when a so-called “equity officer” from the region’s school district admitted that she publicly released private information about parents on social media and even sent a vulgar voicemail to one mother that contained profanities.

Norma Garcia-Lopez, the co-chair of the Fort Worth Independent School District’s Racial Equity Committee, admitted that she shared information about parents who sued the district over the implementation of COVID-19 mask mandates. Garcia-Lopez has resigned from her position but didn’t apologize for what she did.

According to news reports, Garcia-Lopez defended her actions as she resigned and said she was resisting the “vile and relentless attacks” against her by “white supremacists” that are intended to “distract from the pursuit of equity.”

To be clear, equity is not the same as equality – it means achieving the same outcome no matter what, even if that means lowering standards and not allowing students to achieve their full potential.

Garcia-Lopez was first backed by her school board at a press conference last Thursday after she claims to have received threatening and racist threats on social media and over the phone.

However, the alleged messages came after she posted private information about parents who filed a lawsuit against the school district online. She accused all of the parents, who were white, of promoting “white power” – a baseless claim.

Thankfully, she’s not off the school board – but we’ll see whether the school board’s behavior changes.

Good riddance to bad rubbish, as they say.
