Even Al Sharpton Thinks Mitt Romney Is A Fraud

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- In reference to the Respect for Marriage Act, which was approved in the House and would formally recognize same-sex marriage, Reverend Al Sharpton ripped on Republicans in Congress for ‘sticking their heads in the sand.’

Only 47 Republicans voted in favor of the Respect for Marriage Act, which the House of Representatives approved earlier this month. Rep. Glenn Thompson (R-PA), one of the 157 Republicans who voted against the measure, attended his son’s same-sex wedding just days after casting his vote against it.

Al Sharpton slammed Thompson for agreeing to attend his son’s wedding but disagreeing with the bill, calling it illogical.

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), who is apparently planning to oppose the House’s same-sex marriage measure, was then attacked by Sharpton.

Sharpton said Senator Rubio claimed he is voting against the measure because it’s a ridiculous waste of time.  He said, considering Rubio previously compared the size of his hands to Donald Trump’s, perhaps the good senator is not the best judge of frivolous conduct.

Sharpton then complained about Senators Mitt Romney (R-UT) and Rick Scott (R-FL) for their disinterest in the gay marriage bill.

According to reports, Mitt Romney claimed that he hadn’t given the idea any thought, despite being the governor of Massachusetts in 2004 when the state became the first in the US to accept homosexual weddings.

Republican Senator Rick Scott of Florida claimed that his vote is irrelevant since the Supreme Court has already made its decision.

Sharpton said in his closing remarks that by voting to defend a right that already exists, they have the chance to demonstrate that they are capable of serving all Americans, not just their base.

First of all, Senators are sent to Washington DC to represent their constituents, not the entire country.

Second, doesn’t race-grifting Sharpton have pressing tax issues and defamation judgments he should be taking care of?
