(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- The National Institutes of Health’s database that tracks grants funded by the U.S. taxpayer has been removed, making it even more difficult to access information that proves definitively how the Wuhan Institute of Virology received U.S. money to perform gain of function research.
The kind of research that Dr. Anthony Fauci claimed was never conducted at the Wuhan lab with American funded.
When the database was online, it itemized the huge number of taxpayer-funded grants that were distributed by the different agencies within the National Institutes of Health. The grants summed several billion dollars. But now, when searching the database, it provides no results and simply shows an error message.
It follows intense debate over whether or not the United States funded the Wuhan Institute of Virology to perform research that involved genetic editing of viruses. Such research, known as gain of function research, could have ultimately led to the development of a novel coronavirus…and potentially allowed that virus to escape the lab.
When the website was fully functioning, it listed information about funds that were distributed to the EcoHealth alliance led by Peter Daszak. Those funds were then redirected to the Wuhan Institute of Virology – and while at first this was denied, now that it is proven, Dr. Anthony Fauci has shifted and claimed that the funding did not constitute gain of function research.
The grant in question was worth almost $3.7 million and was used for a research project titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence.”
The report describes how they used infectious clone technology to test a hypothesis that “% divergence thresholds in S protein sequences predict spillover potential.” It also describes how they analysed the spillover risk hotspots for SATSr-CoV in Southern China.
It also revealed how Fauci-directed grants were not only sent to EcoHealth Alliance but also to the Director of the Wuhuan Institute of Virology’s Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases, Shi Zhengli.
