(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Nicole Parker, a former FBI special agent, shed tears during her testimony before Congress.
Reports show a new subcommittee was created by a vote of the Republican-controlled House in January to look into the alleged “weaponization” of the federal government. Jim Jordan, a Republican representative from Ohio, stated that the committee’s goals include safeguarding the First Amendment while also looking into the reasons behind the designation of parents as domestic terrorists and the apparent weaponization of federal agencies.
After 9/11, Parker said during the inaugural hearing of the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, she quit her job as a hedge fund analyst to work as an FBI Special Agent from 2011 to 2022. In describing how she joined a Miami field office, Parker said she considered it a sacred responsibility and was honored to be trusted to protect and serve the American people.
Nicole Parker explained that she was proud of participating in the investigations of numerous high-profile criminal cases. Although emotionally upsetting, she believed she made a significant impact.
Parker noted the FBI’s trajectory has changed during her employment of more than 12 years there. The FBI was gradually turned into a political weapon from the top down in Washington to the field offices.
According to Parker, there are two distinct FBIs. One is tainted with political bias and has undermined the agency’s credibility. The agency has suffered due to the lowering of the standards for new hires.
