FBI Investigating Angelina Jolie Drama

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- In early January, actress Angelina Jolie received a batch of papers from the FBI’s investigation into the alleged altercation between her and ex-husband Brad Pitt on a plane that sparked their long and bitter divorce.

It was confirmed last summer that Jolie anonymously sued the FBI in April 2022 under the name “Jane Doe” requesting documents related to a 2016 investigation to find out why no criminal charges were brought against Pitt.

The FBI investigation related to a September 2016 incident aboard a flight when Pitt allegedly took Jolie into the bathroom and “grabbed her by the head, shaking her” during an argument over one of their children.

In the initial FBI report, Jolie alleged at the time that Pitt punched the ceiling four times while calling her “crazy” and accusing her of “f*cking up this family.”

Jolie claimed she was injured trying to prevent Pitt from assaulting one of their children. She provided the FBI with photos of her injuries along with journals from her children.

When the plane landed, Jolie claimed Pitt refused to let the family deplane for about 20 minutes because she told him she was taking the children to a hotel.

Six days after this incident, Jolie filed for divorce.

Last week the UK Daily Mail reported that Jolie finally received the documents she requested from the FBI last year. Over 100 pages of the FBI report were “reprocessed and released” to Jolie on January 4 and another batch was expected to be received by the end of January.

Jolie and Pitt first got together after they co-starred in the film “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” in 2004. They were married ten years later at their home in rural France.

The marriage lasted only 25 months.

Since Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, the couple has been fighting over the custody of their six children, though the two oldest are now no longer minors.
