(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- In her best-selling book Rigged: How the Media, Big Tech and the Democrats Seized Our Elections, Mollie Hemingway outlined the extent of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s interference in the 2020 election.
Using the Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL) and the Center for Election Innovation and Research, Zuckerberg poured nearly $420 million into the 2020 election, the purpose of which was to advance mail-in voting efforts and boost Democrat turnout.
By accepting the funding, local election offices had to relinquish control to the left-wing staffers hired by the organizations. These left-wing activists designed ballots, dealt with ballot “curing,” and handled Democrat voter registration.
And CTCL’s 2020 IRS filings reveal just how much dark money the leftwing group was pouring into these local election offices. The group’s Form 990 reveals thousands of grants to election offices throughout the country, most notably in swing states like Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
While CTCL claims it disbursed this money to election offices in both blue and red districts, according to Mollie Hemingway’s book, the lion’s share of the money went to heavily Democrat districts while Republican districts received a pittance.
And according to Capital Research Center, the data reviewed confirms what Hemingway wrote in her book.
Pennsylvania counties that went for Joe Biden received $3.11 per capita in CTCL grant money while counties that went for Trump received just $0.57 per capita. The same holds for Arizona where Biden counties gobbled up $5.83 per capita while Trump counties got only $1.29 per capita.
Democrat counties flooded with CTCL cash set up ballot drop boxes throughout key cities to bolster Democrat voting. This went hand-in-hand with the effort in Democrat-led states to remove all election security protocols to rely heavily on mail-in voting, ostensibly in response to the pandemic.
Since the election, some states have been pursuing legislation to prevent private money from funding public elections. The question is, will enough be done before both the 2022 midterm and the 2024 presidential race to prevent this kind of plundering of our free and fair elections from happening again?
