Former General Calls On Biden To Take Action On Border

( Former Vice President Mike Pence’s national security advisor warned last week that Biden’s bungling of the southern border has created a national security threat and said the Mexican government must be enlisted to help solve the problem.

Retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg said on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” on Christmas that President Biden should tell Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador that Mexico has become “a superhighway” for illegal aliens “and we’ve got to stop it.” He said if it isn’t stopped, there will be “a huge problem in the future” since the US will not know who is crossing the border.

Kellogg said that by the time you start worrying about the border, “you’ve already lost the fight.” He explained that local officials and communities aren’t prepared to deal with the influx of illegals or criminals that come across the border.

He argued that former President Trump kept lines of communication open with Mexico’s president. Kellogg said Trump would put pressure on Mexico, warning the government that if they won’t solve the problem, the United States would.

Kellogg also discussed the additional $44.9 billion for Ukraine included in the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending package, saying it was time for President Biden to admit that the United States is waging a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine. He said once Biden acknowledges that to the American people, it will “be better for everybody.”

He also suggested that President Biden contact Russian President Vladimir Putin and let him know that the US will “provide enough military support” for Ukraine to “defeat the Russian army infield.” Kellogg said Biden should use that as leverage to get Russia to the negotiating table.

Kellogg maintained that the Russian army “is badly hurt” and can be defeated. He said the US must “apply the pressure” and the public needs to understand that the US is “in a new fight whether we like it or not.”
