FOUR Dem Governors Say They WON’T Trust Vaccine, Will Delay Rollout And Risk Lives

( A total of four Democratic governors have now said that they will not trust a vaccine developed under the Trump administration and will delay the distribution of the life-saving vaccine.

It started with Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom, who said in early October that he would not automatically distribute the vaccine. Instead, Newsome promised to assemble a committee of experts to analyze the vaccine and confirm that it is safe, even though by then it will have already been approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

To be confirmed by the FDA, the vaccine will need to have gone through extensive trials and analyzed by experts already.

Since then, three more Democratic governors have made the same pledge. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Governors Katie Brown of Oregon, Steve Sisolak of Nevada, and Jay Inslee of Washington have all made the same pledge. The newspaper explained how California formed an “interstate pact” back in April with Nevada, Oregon, and Washington, to provide a unified response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was reportedly “loose and largely symbolic” but now will have a real impact on the lives of the tens of millions of people who live in the states. By delaying the rolling out of the vaccine, it could not only delay the ending of lockdowns in these states and stop businesses from properly opening, but could also result in more people dying of the virus than if the vaccine was quickly and efficiently distributed as planned.

The 11-member vaccine review committee proposed by Newsom, which would provide no additional benefit in terms of analysis, given that the vaccine will have already been analyzed and tested, is set to be adopted in these three other states.

Who knows if more Democrat-controlled states will make the same pledge, too? Democratic vice-presidential candidate Senator Kamala Harris has already said that she would not trust a vaccine developed under the Trump administration.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is reportedly putting in place a similar plan to Newsom, as is Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan.
