Golden Globes Ratings Collapse After They Went Woke

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Another year and it’s been another significant drop in viewership for the Golden Globes.

Only 5.3 million people were watching the Golden Globes on Tuesday night during the broadcast.

That rating is the worst the Golden Globes has ever incurred.

Showbiz 411’s rating analysis described the program as “boring and crude,” which mirrors the viewers’ opinions as well. They dubbed the awards show a rating flop, with only 5.36 million viewers. That is a 23% decrease from 2021, which was the last year that the Golden Globes were broadcast.

Could it have been the cameo appearance of Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine?

Sean Penn was the one who made the introduction.

The crowd was promised by Zelensky that there will not be a World War III.

Weird.

The host, Jarrod Carmichael, dressed in strange clothing, made fun of Tom Cruise, and went on and on about how the Golden Globes organization is racist.

The most recent ratings themselves experienced a precipitous decline, going from 18 million in 2020 to just 6.9 million in 2021. The results from last night are a signal. People don’t care to see rich people lauding one another in these trying times.

The show being criticized for being dull and crass, is an unusual mix of negative qualities. However, the host, Jerrod Carmichael, was in over his head with the situation. The presenters were, at best, not even on the B list. The length of the speeches was excessive. The entire product was terrible in ways that we had never before encountered.

The fact that Carmichael opened the program by sitting on stage while dressed in all black as if for a funeral and delivering a solemn speech on racism within the Golden Globes organization was not helpful.

What was going through the minds of the producers?

The signal was that this was not about amusement, so you should turn us off if that is what you were looking for.

Things went from bad to worse as Carmichael’s lack of comedic timing and erratic wardrobe choices ruled the night.

The numbers support the conclusion that the audience did not want to see that crap.
