(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- CBS reported Catherine Herridge tweeted a leaked letter this week that was written by a former official at the Department of Homeland Security. The letter suggests that the department is sitting on “overwhelming evidence” that the nightly riots and violence taking place in Portland, Oregon, are “organized” by violent Antifa extremists.
The evidence proves that Democrats who claim that Antifa is just a belief an not an organization are either foolish or lying, and shows that the violence is being orchestrated by violent Antifa anarchists.
Former Acting Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis, Brian Murphy, said in the letter dated July 25 that the violence had reached a point that the department could no longer call it “opportunistic.” It destroys the narrative of Democrats who claim that the Black Lives Matter movement is being co-opted by opportunists who want to cause chaos.
“We have overwhelming intelligence regarding the ideologies driving individuals towards violence and why the violence has continued,” Murphy says in the email. “A core set of threat actors are organized, show up night after night, share common TTPs [tactics, techniques and procedures] and drawing on like-minded individuals to their cause.”

Murphy went on to say that he recognizes that not every single person at the riot could be identified as “Violent Antifa Anarchist Inspired” but that the department must “look at the totality of the intelligence both current and previous and recognize the motivation for the violence and why people have shown up to commit violence for about 60 days and why individuals are using social media to encourage the VAAI on the ground to carry out acts of violence.”
In the letter, Murphy also explained that the threat actors are motivated by either Antifa or anarchist ideologies and feel compelled to “carry out acts of violence against State, Local, and Federal authorities and infrastructure they believe represent authority or represent political and social ideologies they reject.”
In short, the Department of Homeland Security has evidence that Antifa is organizing criminal activity and violence and is using intimidation to achieve a political aim. Isn’t that the literal definition of…terrorism?
The leak follows an interview with Fox News by the department’s Secretary Chad Wolf who said they are “targeting and reviewing” the heads of Antifa and Black Lives Matter, as well as the people who fund them.
