(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- House Democrats know that the cost of living in the United States is dramatically increasing by the day, which is why the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee recently shared a graph that was manipulated to make it appear as though gas prices have started to drop.
They…haven’t. At least, not in any meaningful way.
The graph, which you can see in the tweet below, thanked President Joe Biden and showed what appears to be a dramatic drop in gas prices. However, upon looking more closely, it shows that the price drop they were referring to took place over the space of one week in November, and was only a $0.02 difference.
Two cents.
The article was met with so much ridicule that even Democrats and Democrat-supporting media outlets said it was a bad idea. Author James Surowicki retweeted the graph and called it the “Greatest Y-axis ever.”

It really is.
Frank Luntz, a well-known pollster, also pointed out that such a tiny drop in prices isn’t something the DCCC should be posting.

What were these people thinking?
Oh, and not to mention, those prices have shot all the way back up again – and have increased by more than $1 since Biden took office. In many cases, it has increased substantially more than a dollar, depending on where people are filling up.
The Washington Post even reported on the graph – which is saying something. The Post regularly stumps for the Democrats and attacks former President Donald Trump and “Make America Great Again” Republicans.
The fact is, prices have gone up under Biden, and there’s no indication that they’re going to go down any time soon.
