Hunter Biden’s Consulting Job Had An “Ultimate Purpose,” Emails Show

House Republicans claim that emails related to Hunter Biden’s involvement with a Ukrainian energy company suggest his true objective was to shield the company from legal action.

On November 2, 2015, Fox News reported an email received by Hunter Biden and his associates from Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi which reveals the “ultimate purpose” of their ongoing agreement: to thwart any legal proceedings against Nikolay (also known as Mykola Zlochevsky) in Ukraine.

Pozharskyi expressed the need for alignment regarding their final goals and proposed a list of deliverables, which included concrete actions such as arranging meetings and communications with influential US officials in Ukraine (such as the US Ambassador) who would publicly or privately express their support for Nikolay/Burisma to key decision-makers in Ukraine, including the President, Chief of Staff, and Prosecutor General.

Furthermore, Pozharskyi mentioned organizing a visit by notable and influential current or former US policymakers to Ukraine in November to meet Ukrainian top officials and convey a positive message of support for Nikolay’s situation. The ultimate objective was to ensure the cessation of any ongoing legal proceedings against Nikolay in Ukraine.

These communications occurred just before then-Vice President Joe Biden’s 2016 trip to Ukraine, during which he informed Ukrainian officials that $1 billion in aid would not be provided unless prosecutor Victor Shokin, who had Burisma under scrutiny, was removed from his position.

According to Republican Representative Paul Gosar of Arizona, the recent emails “further substantiate allegations of bribery and corruption involving Ukrainian officials and the Bidens.” He asserts that these emails provide potential evidence of criminal wrongdoing by Joe Biden, referred to as “the Big Man,” and his son Hunter.

Gosar condemns the prioritization of personal interests over those of the American people, deeming it dishonorable and treasonous. He views this situation as an unprecedented scandal in our nation’s history. He states that the House Oversight and Accountability Committee will investigate to uncover as much of the disturbing truth as possible.

Fox News reported that a document submitted to the FBI contained allegations stating that an executive from Burisma had paid $5 million to Joe Biden and Hunter Biden in exchange for their company backing. It is important to note that these allegations have not been substantiated or proven.

The Biden campaign and the White House have consistently maintained that removing Shokin was necessary due to his involvement in Ukraine’s corruption issues.

According to a Senate report in 2020, it was acknowledged that President Obama and members of his administration knew of Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board and the potential problems that could arise.

This awareness led to interference in the effective implementation of Ukraine-related policies. The investigation further revealed that officials within the Obama administration disregarded red flags when the vice president’s son joined the board of a Ukrainian company under the ownership of a known corrupt oligarch.
