Lawsuit Alleges That Joe Biden Broke Law By Stopping Trump Border Wall

(  The state of Arizona is turning the border wall and immigration against the Biden administration.

On Monday, Mark Brnovich, Arizona’s attorney general, announced that his state will sue the Biden administration. Brnovich’s case says that the administration’s decision to stop building the border wall and its immigration policy that has let a record number of migrants to enter via the southern border is having a “devastating impact” on the environment in the state.

As Brnovich said on the “Fox and Friends” program:

“This is a lawsuit that the Sierra Club should love. In this lawsuit, we allege the Biden administration is violating the National Environmental Protection Act, what the left uses to stop highway projects, airport reconstruction, and all that other stuff.”

This is the third time Arizona has sued the Biden administration because of its actions at the border. In this case, it says that by stopping construction on the border wall:

“They are violating NEPA because it’s allowing more and more people to come into this country. That’s having a devastating impact on our environment and also impacting the increase in population, which will have all sorts of impacts down the road.”

Brnovich added that the Biden administration hasn’t conducted an environmental impact study in relation to immigration, which is “violating federal environmental law.”

Every migrant that enters the country and travels across the Arizona desert leaves behind roughly six to eight pounds of waste, Brnovich said. This includes backpacks, drug paraphernalia, plastic bags and other stuff. He explained:

“Think about this. Anywhere else, if someone said there are 170,000 people leaving each seven pounds of trash, I’m not a math whiz (but that is) a million pounds of trash in one month. You’d think the people’s heads would explode.”

Some of the other lawsuits that Arizona has filed discuss the Biden administration and how it has “encouraged and incentivized illegal immigration, but we are saying what they’re doing by stopping the wall construction, by reversing the remain in Mexico policy, they are violating the National Environmental Protection Act,” Brnovich said.

The Arizona attorney general also said it’s “very disappointing” that Biden’s vice president, Kamala Harris, hasn’t even visited the region to see the issues in person since she was put in charge of handling the crisis at the southern border. Brnovich even said he invited Harris to come to Arizona, but she hasn’t responded to him yet.

He said:

“I pointed out in the letter [the invitation he sent to Harris] that both of us are first-generation American products of immigration, and are both AGs. I talked about the importance of fighting human trafficking and drug trafficking.

“All of us know, whether we are Democrat or Republican, that the cartels make money off every single person crossing that border. We know they are using it right now to dramatically increase fentanyl, coke, heroin.”

And finally, illegal immigration is “going to become an unmitigated tragedy if we don’t do something now.”
