Liberals Censor Ruth Ginsburg’s “Gendered” Language During Key Case

( The American Civil Liberties Union recently shared a quote by the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but chose to change her problematic transphobic language. The organization replaced the word “women’s” with “person’s.”

When the ACLU shared a tweet around the time of the anniversary of Ginsburg’s death, the ACLU attempted to draw attention to new legislation in Texas that bans abortions after the fetus develops a heartbeat at six weeks. The tweet, however, refused to admit the very basics of human biology and suggested that it wasn’t only women who have children.

The tweet said that the decision of whether or not to bear a child is central to a “person’s” life and “their” dignity.

“When the government controls that decision for people, they are being treated as less than a fully adult human,” the tweet continues.

You can see the tweet here:

And what you’ll likely notice is that they didn’t even try and hide the fact that they changed the quote. You can see the replaced words put into brackets.

Just ask yourself…if even the late Justice Bader Ginsburg isn’t safe, then who is?

And why aren’t they canceling Bader Ginsburg and calling her transphobic?

The tweet continues with a series of other posts, with the ACLU complaining that 560 abortion restrictions and “bans” have been introduced nationally over the last year, and then wrongly claimed that Texas is enforcing an “extreme ban on most abortion” and encouraging neighbors, estranged relatives, and “anti-abortion extremists” to sue anyone who provides patients with abortions after six weeks.

What’s so wrong with holding organizations that break the law accountable for their actions?

The weird tweet is similar to one posted by far-left congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who claimed on September 8 that “trans men & non-binary people can also menstruate.”

Have the Democrats and their allies lost their minds?
