(TheLibertyRevolution.com) – The coronavirus is dangerous and quickly spreading across the world, but with the right management, it’s entirely possible to reduce its impact and protect American citizens. That was the message pushed by Vice President Mike Pence in an interview with Hannity on Fox News on Thursday.
“The risk of the spread of the coronavirus in the United States remains low,” Pence said.
Pence said that all of the experts providing advice to the Trump administration are offering the same information and message, that the risk remains low and the country is well prepared to handle the problem.
“And it’s a direct result of the unprecedented action that President Trump took last month when he closed our border to Chinese individuals coming into the country and also established a quarantining effort.”
The coronavirus is believed to have originated in Wuhan, China, and while the virus has spread to other parts of the world it is continuing to impact Chinese society and its economy.
“Out White House Coronavirus Task Force has literally been meeting every day for the last six weeks. And the American people can be confident that we’re going to bring, at the president’s discretion, the full resources of the federal government to bear to protect the people of this country.”
Vice President Pence also explained that, during this time of year, it’s good for everybody to engage in “best practices.”
He directed Americans to visit cdc.gov to find the latest information about the virus, and how they can “best see to the health of their family and their community.”
President Trump was mocked by Democrats and far-left activists who suggested he believed the virus would magically disappear in April, but the truth is that the president rightly acknowledged the fact that it becomes more difficult for viruses to spread as the weather gets warmer. As we approach the warmer spring weather, the virus will find it more difficult to survive and human immune systems will become more resistant.
Nonetheless, an Israeli team is already working on a vaccine for the virus that could be available within a matter of months.
