(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Robert Herring, the owner of popular conservative-leaning news network One America News, recently slammed President Joe Biden for his latest extremist pick to sit on the Federal Communications Commission.
During an interview with One America News anchor Pearson Sharp, Robert Herring denounced the far-left nominee Gigi Sohn just a week after his own son, Charles, published an op-ed on the One America News website in which he endorsed Sohn.
He made it clear that he did not share his son’s support of the nominee, and said that “she shouldn’t be anywhere near the FCC” as far as he’s concerned.
He added that the “company itself is not supporting her” because she is one of the “most extreme leftists” ever seen in Washington.
What on earth prompted his son to support her?
He added that she was a “Marxist” who has no regard for the United States Constitution or freedom of speech.
Reports from other news outlets, including The Washington Free Beacon, claimed that Charles Herring had lobbied Republican senators to support the nomination of Sohn, and even booked Bradley Blakeman, a political advisor, to appear on the network to talk about her credentials and why she would do a good job.
As it stands, it’s unclear whether Sohn will be confirmed in the Senate.
