(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- The Commission on Presidential Debates is preparing to take new measures that would arguably assist Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in future debates. After the Tuesday night debate saw Biden laughing along with debate moderator Chris Wallace, and allowed to interrupt President Trump without reprimand.
On Wednesday, the commission responded to outrage from the press that Donald Trump interrupted Joe Biden on multiple occasions – something that has happened in every single presidential debate since they were first televised.
The statement said that they would restructure the debates in a way that would establish a “more orderly discussion.” Speculation online has suggested this could include giving moderators the ability to mute microphones for candidates.
“The Commission on Presidential Debates sponsors televised debates for the benefit of the American electorate,” the statement reads. “Last night’s debate made clear that additional structure should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues.”
Well, if Joe Biden can’t get a break every thirty minutes like his campaign originally asked for, this is probably the next best thing. He’ll be able to say whatever he likes – including lying and claiming President Trump called white supremacists “very fine people” – without being challenged on it.
“The CPD will be carefully considering the changes that it will adopt and will announce those measures shortly,” the commission continued. “The Commission is grateful to Chris Wallace for the professionalism and skill he brought to last night’s debate and intends to ensure that additional tools to maintain order are in place for the remaining debates.”
President Donald Trump hit back at the reports, asking why he would allow the commission to change the rules when he “easily won last time.”
Why would I allow the Debate Commission to change the rules for the second and third Debates when I easily won last time?

Beyond changing the rules, some members of the press have even called to cancel the final remaining debates. Despite this, however, the Biden campaign has said they intend for their candidate to attend the final two debates scheduled for later this month.
For the first time ever, the debate commission is considering taking measures to ensure one candidate cannot challenge another candidate on misleading claims.
Interesting.
