(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Russian President Vladimir Putin used a speech on Thursday to slam woke ideology – a move that proves that even a former member of the KGB is saner than the President of the United States on extremist ideologies that can ruin a country.
Putin said during the speech that wokeness is causing a host of societal ills across the Western world, and said that what is happening in the United States and Europe is no different than what was seen in Russia during the 1917 revolution.
The speech was made during a plenary session of the 18th annual gathering of the Valdair International Discussion Club. Taking place in Sochi, participants discussed a “Global Shake-up I the 21st Century.”
Putin’s comments were translated into English. He described how the world is seeing with “bemusement” the “paralysis unfolding in countries that have grown accustomed to viewing themselves as the flagships of progress.”
Ouch.
Putin then said that while it’s none of Russia’s business what is happening in those countries, he couldn’t help but notice that the harm being done in Western countries – ranging from affirmative action to the “blotting out of whole pages of your own history” – are becoming a “renewal of society.” He also slammed the West’s focus on forcing people to renounce traditional values and the idea of a family, which includes a mother, father, and children.
“The preparedness of the so-called social progress believe that the bringing a new conscience, a new consciousness to humanity, something that is more correct,” he said, before adding that what he is seeing is nothing new.
“Paradoxical as it may seem, but this is something we saw in Russia,” he said, adding that the Bolsheviks in Russia followed Marx and Engels’ ideology and declared that they would change the traditional lifestyle and the basis of morality.
How is it that we’ve reached a point where Vladimir Putin is making more sense than our own president?
That’s a damning indictment of Biden’s failures.
