(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Last week, a left-wing group calling itself “Ruth Sent Us” revealed the home addresses of the conservative Supreme Court justices and called on pro-abortion activists to protest at their homes.
According to a report in The Federalist, untangling who is behind this radical group’s intimidation efforts is much like peeling back the layers of an onion.
The group’s website appears to be registered under the name Sam Spiegel. According to FEC filings from 2018, Spiegel is named as the treasurer of the UNSEAT political action committee.
The PAC’s Twitter account includes a pinned tweet attacking Justice Brett Kavanaugh, claiming he purchased his way onto the Supreme Court.
The UNSEAT PAC, which has not filed with the Federal Elections Commission for years, lists the same PO Box at which the Ruth Sent Us website domain is registered.
The 2018 FEC statement also lists Vara Ramakrishnan whose Facebook page references both #StrikeForChoice and the website RefuseFascism.org. The Ruth Sent Us website also links to Strike for Choice.
According to Judicial Network’s Carrie Severino, Strike For Choice is connected to leftwing groups like Black Lives Matter, Code Pink, Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights, and Kavanaugh Off Our Court.
Another group linked to Ruth Sent Us is “Vigil for Democracy,” an LLC registered in Arizona last year. Vara Ramakrishnan is also associated with “Vigil for Democracy.” The group is listed as the sponsor of the map Ruth Sent Us posted revealing the locations of the Justices’ homes.
In short, Ruth Sent Us is a smorgasbord of incestuous far-leftwing groups.
To conclude that these groups were able to snap into action in just a matter of one day after the leak of Justice Samuel Alito’s draft opinion beggars belief. It seems likely that the leak was part of a coordinated plan of attack.
The Federalist has not been able to determine who is providing the funding for these shadowy leftwing groups.
On Monday, by unanimous consent, the US Senate passed legislation to beef up security for Supreme Court Justices in response to the ongoing illegal intimidation campaigns by these leftwing groups.
The bill would put members of the Court on par with the Executive and Legislative branches and would ensure that all nine justices receive the same level of security.
The Senate bill now moves to the House where some radical Democrat members are likely to object.
