Trump officials informed the Daily Caller that former president Donald Trump is considering US Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) as her vice presidential nominee.
The report shows insiders suggested Stefanik has the qualities Trump’s staff will seek in a Vice Presidential candidate. She has stood by him through the impeachment process and the NY prosecution, and she was the first person of the GOP leadership who endorsed him for president, supporting him before Trump formally declared his campaign. The devotion Trump hears so much about from his inner circle may sway him to choose her as his running mate.
In a recent interview, Rep. Stefanik assured reporters that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg would face the consequences.
According to a report, Stefanik explained in a presser that Alvin Bragg campaigned on a platform of pursuing Donald Trump. The Department of Justice (DOJ) and US Attorneys passed on the case because it was a non-starter. Stefanik said that politics are at play here.
She remarked that the more information becomes public, the more people will see that this prosecution is motivated only by politics. Because of the usage of federal funds, Congress also plays an essential part in this prosecution.
Two former prosecutors from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office have also written a book on the need to oppose Donald Trump politically.
She stated that Trump had been the target of a political prosecution since 2016. Alvin Bragg will be held accountable and must testify before Congress under oath.
According to a report, Trump has indicated that plenty of people are auditioning for the post of Vice President, but he has given no clue as to who he is considering. He has gone as far as to say he is willing to campaign with his chief prospective adversary, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).
Trump stated that Stefanik had a shot at being president in 2028. Trump said Stefanik was always a friend and that she is on the rise. She went to DC as a youthful leader who suddenly assumed control and became a star overnight. He said she’s been a strong “boss.”
