(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- President Donald Trump isn’t playing around on matters of the national anthem and respecting the nation’s history. On Saturday, the president announced that he wouldn’t be watching U.S. soccer any more following the decision by the United States Soccer Federation to repeal a rule that banned players from taking a knee when the national anthem is played.

U.S. Soccer didn’t just repeal the rule but went out of their way for apologizing for implementing it in the first place. They said that they hadn’t done enough to “listen” and that they think it’s only right that their players are allowed to disrespect the national anthem during the games.
“We have not done enough to listen – especially to our players – to understand and acknowledge the very real and meaningful experiences of Black and other minority communities in our country,” the statement said. “We apologize to our players – especially our Black players – staff, fans, and all who support eradicating racism.”
The decision came after the tragic death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis – the event that initiated the race riots occurring all over the United States. Since the riots occurred, eradicating racism has become synonymous with supporting the far-left, anti-capitalist, violent protest movement Black Lives Matter.
In a tweet, President Trump noted that the National Football League appears to be likely to allow kneeling during the anthem soon, too.

The decision to allow kneeling during the national anthem is likely to cause similar anger across the country, too. Black Lives Matter riots are attended by a tiny minority of the American public, and polls continue to show opposition to the protests.
