(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- The 2020 presidential election is heating up and presuming mail-in voter fraud doesn’t cause widespread disruption or skew the results, Vegas oddsmakers think President Trump is set for a win. Website Vegas Election Odds shows President Donald Trump tying or leading with Democratic nominee Joe Biden on Wednesday, marking a significant shift in polling trends from July.
Vegas Election Odds is an aggregator for odds available from trusted online sportsbooks. Consider it the Real Clear Politics poll of polls, but for betting odds. Looking at the odds offered by bookmakers is often considered a good judge of the national mood, given bookmakers don’t want to make a loss on bets made.
On Wednesday, the site showed Biden and Trump tied at -110 with Bovada, and Trump at -120 and Biden +100 on BetOnline. Citing data from BetOnline, the website described a 40-point swing in the odds towards President Donald Trump in Arizona, though also said that Biden was still leading there marginally.
The site also noted a ten-point swing towards the president in Michigan and a massive 210-point swing in Minnesota where Trump has overtaken Biden. In North Carolina there has been a 50-point swing to the president, and in Pennsylvania, a substantial 100-point swing towards the president.
In short, it’s not looking good for Biden – and it’s probably a combination of the riots being started by Democrat voters and the uptick in the economy under Trump’s administration.
Fortune also reported on Wednesday that, according to betting site Smarkets, President Trump and Joe Biden are now “virtually neck-and-neck in their chances of victory” with betting markets giving Biden a 50% probability of winning and Trump 49%.
Vegas Election Odds says they will continue to monitor the election and offer updates.
“The American public and the International audiences have all been much more involved with this election than any other in US history. With endless coverage of every minuscule detail of the race, people are feeling more inclined to add some betting action to their politics this year,” the site explains, before describing how their guide is designed to “provide additional insight for those interested in accessing current Vegas election odds.”
Fortune also noted that President Trump, should he win the election again, is expected to lose the popular vote – something the Democrats will once again be sour about. But isn’t that the point of the Electoral College, to stop the country being ruled by the biggest states that are vastly out of touch with the rest of the country?
If the Democrats got their way, the whole country would be ruled by Democrats until the end of time based on the weird demographics of California and New York.
