(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Tucker Carlson, the most-watched man in television news, recently caused a stir by calling Dr. Anthony Fauci a “shorter version of Mussolini” during an episode of his “Tucker Carlson Tonight” show.
During an opening monologue, only an hour after Lara Logan told the same network that people are “telling” her that Fauci is much like famed Nazi doctor Josef Mengele, Carlson slammed Fauci for taking control of the United States and losing his mind with the power.
He suggested that, once the “fog lifts” and the world returns to normal – if it ever does – then somebody will “write a hilarious novel about this moment.”
The star of the novel, he said, would be the “81-year-old bureaucrat who really shouldn’t be driving a car at this point.”
He said that only a handful of years ago, Fauci was a regular old health official who “gave careful, precise answers” but after two years of being adored by the media, Dr. Fauci – the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – has “morphed into an even shorter version of Benito Mussolini.”
Well, Tucker does have a way with words…
He then played a clip of a recent interview from Fauci with “Face the Nation,” aired the day before Tucker’s monologue, in which he was asked about the way the Republicans – or, the Trump administration – handled the pandemic.
He accused the Republicans of pushing an “anti-science flavor” to the pandemic, before wrongly claiming that anybody who criticizes him is criticizing science, because he represents science.
Don’t believe us?
Watch him say it:
Dr. Fauci says @RandPaul and others who criticize him are actually "criticizing science" because "I represent science."

And the Democrats tried to claim Trump had an ego! Look at this guy.
It’s no wonder Tucker has such harsh words for him.
