White House Changes Kamala Harris’ Statement Suddenly

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- During her remarks at the DNC Winter Retreat last weekend, Vice President Kamala Harris made a comment that left some wondering if she was unaware that Ukraine is not a member of NATO.

In her remarks, the bungling Harris declared that she will say “over and over again: The United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people in the defense of the NATO alliance.”

Problem is, Ukraine is not part of the NATO alliance.

Worse still, any talk of Ukraine joining NATO is a red line for Russian President Vladimir Putin. So having the Vice President of the United States imply that Ukraine is part of NATO could be a problem for the White House.

To solve the sticky situation, when the White House posted Kamala’s remarks to the official White House website, someone tried to correct Kamala’s mistake by adding a bracketed [and] to her speech so the quote read: “The United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people [and] in the defense of the NATO alliance.”

Unfortunately for the nervous White House, three days later, Kamala made the exact same mistake on Twitter.

Last Tuesday afternoon, Kamala tweeted a picture of herself greeting US troops in Poland and closed her tweet by once again saying “The United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people in defense of the NATO alliance.”

She wasn’t kidding when she told the House Democrats that she would say it “over and over again.”

Twitter has no edit feature, so the White House was unable to edit her tweet to include the bracketed [and]. So instead, Kamala’s team deleted the tweet and then tweeted the same thing again, this time with the word “and” added between “the Ukrainian people” and “in defense of the NATO alliance.”

Last Monday, Fox News ran a segment on Kamala’s repeated Ukraine/NATO gaffe.
