(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- As part of Women’s History Month, the Biden White House chose to put a favorable spotlight on an activist who admires Mao Zedong. This is where we are as a nation. In the late 40s and early 50s, the country was amid a “red scare,” concerned that communists had infiltrated the fabric of society, particularly in the government.
The left roundly mocked the right’s belief that Democrats were sympathetic to the cause of communism. This notion was simply “paranoia” and “malarkey.”
The belief that Democrats were sympathetic to the cause of communism was roundly mocked by the left as “paranoia” and “malarkey.”
Now, an American president is lauding a woman who praises communism and loathes capitalism and America. He does this as part of Women’s History Month.
What’s next? Tokyo Rose day in the Rose Garden?
On Friday, the Biden administration tweeted their praise of the activist Yuri Kochiyama because she “spoke out about oppressive institutions and injustice in the United States.”
Her views were shaped after the 1941 bombing of Pearl Harbor. Like many people of Japanese heritage, her sickly father, seen as a potential national security threat, was arrested.
He was detained and put in custody without medical treatment. Shortly after he was cleared and released, he died.
The rest of her family were put in internment camps. The camps were in the south, and the Kochiyama family saw the Jim Crow era firsthand.
Years after the internment was over, Yuro was living in Harlem. There she witnessed segregation and discrimination, which was the impetus for her to join the civil rights movement. Noble and notable, for sure.
But that’s when things turned very hard left. In Harlem, she became friends with Malcolm X. He persuaded her to broaden her purview way beyond domestic racial issues and focus on internationalist and anti-imperialist views.
Kochiyama transformed into a highly outspoken critic of America and its policies but embraced harsher regimes in terms of violence, oppression, and intolerance.
“As for imperialism, the government of the United States is the best example. Imperialism, terrorism, and war go hand in hand. But it begins with capitalism, private ownership, and profit-making,” she said in the interview.
“Incursions and usurpations of other people’s territories, it was the epitome of white superiority,… there is certainly a relationship between imperialism and racism, and imperialism and white superiority,” she stated.
In a 2003 interview, which is online on LA IndyMedia, Yuri expressed her affection for bin Laden.
She saw bin Laden as Malcolm X, Che Guevara, Patrice Lumumba, and Fidel Castro, all leaders that she admired.
The woman held up for honor by the Biden White House believes that the US government is shameful, and from the beginning, we were racist and loathsome.
The Vox website reported that she was an unashamed and ardent admirer of Mao Zedong even after the Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution.
She praised Malcolm X for his “admiration for Mao and Ho Chi Minh.”
What an authentic American woman.
