(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was forced to admit on Thursday that they would be unable to evacuate every single Afghan who is at risk in the country thanks to President Joe Biden’s decision to leave behind tens of billions of dollars worth of American military equipment.
The Democrats have repeatedly insisted on evacuating Afghans from the country, and have advocated it so strongly that thousands of Afghans were safely removed from the country before all Americans were removed. But in a briefing after the horrific terror attacks at Kabul’s international airport on Thursday, which killed 13 American Marines, Psaki admitted that not “every single Afghan” will be removed.
Psaki not only said that they would be unable to keep safe all Afghan people who are not at risk because of Biden’s poor handling of the withdrawal of U.S. troops, but she also caused confusion over the issue of the August 31 deadline imposed by the Taliban and accepted by President Joe Biden.
“I think you also heard the president make clear that there is not a deadline,” Psaki said, despite that President Biden said that he intends to evacuate all Americans by August 31.
Taliban spokespeople threatened that if the U.S. does not withdraw all troops by the deadline then there will be “consequences,” and Americans have received text messages from the State Department warning them that if they do not successfully make contact with American forces in Afghanistan by the end of the month then they will be expected to leave the country without the assistance of the U.S. government.
