According to Democratic witness Devon Archer’s congressional testimony, Hunter Biden gave his business partners the impression that they had access to then-Vice President Joe Biden in over 20 phone conversations.
Despite Hunter Biden placing Joe Biden on speakerphone over 20 times, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) and a person familiar with the testimony said that Joe Biden was not engaged in Hunter Biden’s business operations. Democrats and the mainstream media have said that Hunter Biden just gave his foreign business associates the appearance of having access to Joe Biden.
He told the press that greeting the folks his kid is having dinner with is perfectly OK.
The Biden name and Hunter’s experience as a lobbyist and attorney in the nation’s capital are what Hunter refers to when he says he is selling the “Biden brand.” He schemes to make bank on the well-known political surname.
Tony Bobulinski told the press about the time he met Joe Biden. Hunter rose to greet his father upon his entrance. He then introduced Bobulinski to Joe, indicating that Joe was the one who was assisting with the business they were doing with the Chinese.
Democrats are desperate to dispel any ambiguity. Hunter Biden was not trying to make money off of his father’s position as vice president. Yet, it’s clear he was.
According to House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY), Joe Biden was his son’s brand that he used to profit the Biden family financially. On more than 20 separate times during his tenure as VP, Joe Biden joined Hunter Biden for dinner with his international business colleagues in person or over the telephone.
According to analysts, Joe Biden’s possible participation in a bribery scheme was exposed by Archer’s testimony.
Even the appearance that one is selling access to the White House is considered unsavory. When it’s not just an “illusion,” and money has been exchanged with the promise that leverage has been purchased, that is criminal.
The left tried to nail Trump on the “emoluments clause” for years. They have a classic case right in their face but choose to ignore it because Biden is to be protected at all costs.
