Elizabeth Warren Will “Defer” Supporting Kamala Harris For 2024

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- About two years before the 2024 election, a prominent Democratic senator has come out against supporting Vice President Kamala Harris for reelection.

Sen. Liz Warren (D-MA) recently said in an interview that she wants to wait for President Joe Biden, who has not yet announced his intention to run for office again, before weighing in on the veep.

“I like Kamala. We go way back,” Warren said. She said since she first met her while Harris was attorney general and she was still an educator, they had been working on the housing problem together.

Warren said she didn’t intend to imply that she believes there are any issues, only that they need to be a team, and she gets the impression that they are.

Warren said on Boston Public Radio, “I really want to defer to what makes Biden comfortable on his team.”

A little more than a year ago, Biden said that Harris would be his running partner in 2024 if he decided to seek re-election. Biden has proclaimed, “She’s going to be my running companion, number one,” referring to Harris.

Biden has not emphatically stated his intention to run for office so far. According to several publications, he is anticipated to make an announcement soon after his State of the Union speech on February 7. Regarding Harris’ involvement in voting rights laws, Biden said, “I believe she’s doing a fantastic job.”

Thus far, there has been no reformation of voting laws.

Like Harris, Warren was a senator who ran against Biden for the Democratic presidential nomination in the 2020 race. Warren announced her intention to run for re-election as a senator in 2024, joining Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a fellow leftist and former presidential candidate, in endorsing Biden should he decide to run for re-election.

If Biden decides to run again, he may face former President Donald Trump in a general election rematch after Trump declared his intention to run again in November.
